Assumpta Creaven has been in practice since 2004 when she graduated from the Burren School of Homeopathy. Assumpta became a registered member of the Irish Society of Homeopaths in 2005, and the following year completed a Post Graduate course in London with Dr. A.U. Ramakrishnan, an internationally known medical doctor/homeopath from India who is well known for his homeopathic treatment of cancer and serious illness, as well as for his book “A Homeopathic Approach to Cancer”. In 2007 Assumpta travelled to India with Dr. Ramakrishan and completed a course of Clinical Training at the Homeopathic Hospital in Chennai.
Prior to setting up the Galway Homeopathy Clinic with Anne Marie O’Bradaigh in Galway city this year, Assumpta was in practice in Kilcolgan, Co. Galway and has also done some teaching with the Galway College of Homeopathy. Assumpta treats all ailments and diseases from the common cold and flu to: - asthma

Through her association with Dr. Ramakrishnan, Assumpta has a special interest in the treatment of cancer with homeopathy, which can be used in conjunction with conventional treatments and is very beneficial in combating the side effects of conventional treatment. Using homeopathy when faced with cancer can also help a patient deal emotionally with the diagnosis, can offer an alternative in the treatment of the disease or can be used in conjunction with conventional treatments.
